Alice In Wonderland 7It was a hot day. Alice was with her sister by the river. She felt bored and wanted to do something fun. %u201cWhy don%u2019t you read this book with me, Alice? It%u2019s very interesting,%u201d offered her sister.%u201cI%u2019ve tried, but there are no pictures or stories in it. It%u2019s not fun at all. Pictures make everything more exciting,%u201d replied Alice and thought %u201cWhy do you have a book without pictures or stories?%u201d She felt sleepy.Suddenly, she saw a white rabbit with pink eyes running past her. It was strange when the rabbit took out a watch from his pocket and ran away.%u201cLook! Did you see that rabbit? He is wearing clothes and has a little watch!%u201d shouted Alice.%u201cHow strange! Where do you think he%u2019s going in such a hurry?%u201d asked her sister. Alice was curious, so she wanted to follow him.%u201cI don%u2019t know, but I want to find out! I%u2019m going to follow him.%u201dShe jumped up and ran after him. He ran down a large, deep rabbit hole. Alice went down the hole, too. She fell down and down slowly, so she wasn%u2019t afraid. As she fell, she saw cupboards and bookshelves on the sides of the well.When she landed, Alice found herself in a magical place called Wonderland. Everything was different and exciting!Alice said, %u201cWow, where am I? Everything looks so strange and wonderful!%u201d She remembered her cat and thought, %u201cBut what about my cat, Dinah? Will she be alright without me? Will she miss me very much?%u201d She wondered, %u201cHow will I return home?%u201dShe could still see the White Rabbit. Alice knew she had to catch up with him quickly. He said, %u201cOh my ears and whiskers, how late it%u2019s getting!%u201d Then he turned a corner. When Alice reached the corner, she couldn%u2019t see him anywhere. She found herself in a long hall with doors all around.
